Speed and treadmill upgrades in Steal An ASMR

Use the treadmill to train Speed. Buying Workers solves the earning step; treadmill training solves the movement step.

Use the blue treadmill

  1. Return to your base and find the treadmill. At 5:05.585, the recording shows a blue treadmill with 2/step above it and an Upgrade Treadmill! board beside it.
  2. Move onto/use the treadmill and follow any on-screen action it presents. Training there to gain Speed is the developer's instruction; no specific PC key or console button is established by the selected frame.
  3. Watch your Speed reading as you train and read the gain-per-step label on your current treadmill. At the observed 2/step state, the label expresses a gain per counted step, not 2 per second.
  4. Return to collecting when movement is sufficient for your current task, or read the nearby upgrade board to compare a treadmill improvement with available cash.

Worked units example: if the current gain remains 2 Speed per counted step, adding 20 Speed takes 10 counted steps: 20 ÷ 2 = 10. This gives counted steps, not elapsed time or a safe escape threshold. A different gain label or modifier changes the calculation. The selected frame does not supply a universal target Speed or full upgrade ladder.

Source note: Training is developer-described; the 2/step label is observed. The 20 ÷ 2 example is conditional arithmetic, not a measured ten-step trial.

Train now or spend on an upgrade?

If you have not completed the Worker earning step, fix that dependency first. More movement does not by itself establish earnings from the hatched ASMR. Follow Workers and money for that setup.

If money is coming in and movement is the problem, train. The treadmill is the source-described way to gain Speed. This is different from spending money at an upgrade board.

If you can afford the currently displayed treadmill upgrade, compare its offered change with the problem you are solving. Read the price and any current → next gain on your own board. Under otherwise equal conditions, a higher gain per step reduces counted steps needed for the same Speed increase. Pay only against the current offer; the small upgrade price in the inspected frame cannot be read, so there is no sourced fixed price to substitute here.

If choosing between base growth and the treadmill, identify the bottleneck rather than assuming one is always best. The developer lists both uses. An earning/base need and a movement need are different reasons to spend. Available footage does not establish an ROI ranking across them. Choosing a treadmill upgrade because it visibly raises per-step gain is a conditional decision; calling it best at every level would need different evidence.

An item-level board is different too: see the Common-item Lvl 8 → 9, $17 example. Keep that item cash price separate from the unread treadmill price and Robux game passes.
