Eggs and hatching in Steal An ASMR

Bring an egg to your base and place it before trying to hatch it. The carrying state and the placed countdown are different steps.

Carry an egg home and place it

  1. Go to the pets' egg area. The developer says eggs are taken from pets; the inspected footage shows a sandy area with pets, including a green creature displaying sleeping ZZZ symbols.
  2. Approach an egg and use the pickup/steal action the game presents. Follow the prompt on your device.
  3. Carry the egg back into your own fenced grassy base. At 00:30 in gaming with kota's video, the player is doing this with an egg selected in hotbar slot 3. Slot 3 is that player's arrangement, not a required slot.
  4. With the egg selected, use Place at your base. The touch-layout footage visibly shows that control. Your success check is a placed egg on the plot rather than the egg still being carried.
  5. Follow the timer/ready steps below. Once the hatch becomes a collectible, continue with Workers and money to set up its earning step.

If you are holding an egg but do not see Place, first return to your base and confirm that the egg is the selected item. Those are the conditions in the observed placement state. Follow the prompt on your device; do not assume a keyboard key from this touch recording. This is a state check, not a claim that every missing prompt has the same cause.

Source note: Acquisition uses the developer-described loop and later carried-egg state. An exact acquisition key, pet wake rule and safe escape Speed were not established. These are selected observed states, not independent playtesting.

Timer or Hatch: which action applies?

A countdown means wait; Hatch! means the hatch action is available. At 00:40 a placed egg shows 2s remaining; another egg shows 1s at 02:32.793. These are remaining-time readings in two moments, not two universal egg durations.

Let the countdown finish, then use Hatch! when that prompt appears. A ready egg is visible with this label at 10:11.170. The resulting item can show a name, rarity and a dollar label, as in the examples below. The frames show relevant states rather than an independently playtested continuous transaction.

The timer also shows Skip! in the footage. You can follow the normal wait path without treating Skip as required. No Skip price or purchase effect was read in these frames, so this guide does not tell you it is free or promise an exact time saving. If a timer remains, use its current remaining value; if Hatch! is available, repeating Place is not the next action.

Two ASMRs shown in the footage

Item Visible rarity Dollar label Where observed
Wooden Keyboard Common 7$ 2:49.189, placed at the base with a Pickup prompt
Lime Wrap Rare 52$ 10:11.170, placed at the base with a Pickup prompt

These examples let you match an item name with its displayed rarity. The 52$ label is numerically larger than 7$, but neither view supplies a per-second unit or a comparable upgrade level. That prevents a fair base-income comparison, a 7.43× income claim or a trade-value ranking. The floating +2$ near Wooden Keyboard is an observed money popup, not proof that 7$ means seven dollars each second.

The developer also mentions different eggs, pets, sizes and mutations. Treat those as separate variation dimensions: the two rarity labels above do not identify a size or mutation. No specific size-to-income multiplier, mutation bonus or hatch chance is established by these examples. This is a small observed set, not an all-items list.
